Psychotherapist

they/them

Finding the right therapist for you can be vulnerable and challenging. I hope to work with you collaboratively to help you figure out whether we could be a good fit. I’m a queer, transgender, Jewish, NY-based therapist offering individual counseling via Telehealth. I believe that my clients are the experts in their own lives and my role is to empower them with skills to regulate emotions and get deeper in touch with the wisdom of the body.

I have a profound commitment to helping my clients work through trauma and build lives that they are excited about. As a therapist, I work collaboratively with clients using somatic and evidence-based approaches such as DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), MI (Motivational Interviewing), Parts Work, and Polyvagal Theory.

I deeply value working within an anti-oppression based framework. In addition to working with clients who identify as TGNC and/or queer, I specialize in working with folks who struggle with anxiety and depression and who are in recovery from substance use. I use a collaborative, individualized approach that honors your unique recovery goals.
